The Honeymooners
by Cole Scott
When I first saw this photo I thought it was a capture of a whimsical sculpture. We had been to Shelburne Farms in Burlington,VT. and viewed some incredible sculptures in the basement of the Round Barn which is quite a piece of architecture in itself.. Anyway, I asked my husband about it and he said,
"No. It's Rockefeller Center. I took it on my trip to New York in August."
He and our eldest son made an overnight trip to NY to pick up a large format printer he'd bought on ebay at a huge discount. They spent one night in the city and he clicked away then created this very cool image out of one of his shots. He was always a "Honeymooners" fan, hence the title. I asked why he didn't put a face on the moon like the tv show but he said it would be "overkill".
That's why he's the artist.

I love it! really sets a mood....
What a great picture! Does he use Photoshop to alter the image? Or some other program?
Susan: It's fun stuff.
Vicki: I am pretty sure he used Photoshop for this. He loves PS.
This is SUCH a neat picture. Yes, he's right about overkill. What a sensible guy to know when to stop!!!!
I was thinking of him the other day actually ! Was in Lyon trying to take some clever pictures and thinking about what I've seen of Cole's pictures. And also thinking that his is a real talent while I am just stumbling around in the dark. (Hope you got the mice problem under control!)
