Palin Tweets & Shatner Beats...Then & Now

Think Progress has a great post on Sarah Palin's tweets that is fun to read. This is apparently how she intends to stay in touch after leaving office as Governor of Alaska. I am also borrowing this send up of her tweets by William Shatner aka Denny Craig aka Capt. Kirk. According to Conan O'Brien, her tweets are "poetry". I think I concur.

July 31 Post Script: While browsing around the internet this morning I came across this old Shatner/Capt. Kirk video. He really hasn't changed at all.

Thanks to Coilhouse.

I just can't listen to her gibberish. But it does sound better when William Shatner does it in poetry. :-)

Shatner is getting so fat! But I love him nevertheless.
BTW did Palin really tweet that gibberish? How scary.

That is too funny

W Shatner is a hoot

I loved him in Star Trek & as Denny Crane ... and now a late night poet reader

Thanks for the laugh

Hilarious, not her gibberish, but Shatner. Thanks for the clip, as I missed it.

That woman makes little sense. Her last speeches were more senseless than this.

Shatner's funny. :-)

These are the most intelligent things I've ever "heard" her utter.LMAO!!! Nobody could do it better than Shatner!

Ah, Bill Shatner. He has endurance, doesn't he? I've always loved that Twilight Zone he was in, when he saw the monster on the wing of the plane. That whole show is just so iconic of America in the late 50's, early 60's. Wow.

As for Ms. Palin, I'm so sick of her. No enduring allure for her, at least I don't feel it. Wouldn't mind if she disappeared asap!

Nancy: Just think, pretty soon she'll have a talk show and you can listen to her ALL THE TIME. hahahaha!

Auntie: He really is a twist. Seeing this old vid of him proves it. Funny guy in his twisted way.

JC: I agree. This is getting alot of attn from 24 hr news stations.

Marguerite: You are welcome. I'm going to mosey on over & see what's cookin' at Cajun Delights.

Linda: She's probably talked her way into a multi million dollar deal with some media conglom.

Susan: You got that right. They really do sound more intelligent when he says them.

Reya: Well now, Denny Crain had endurance (so he liked to boast) not too sure about Shatner. hahaha. Your ref to Twilight Zone epi with the monster on the wing is well remembered. Funny how some shows are forever embedded. As for Palin, she's going staight to Hollywood or something similar I am sure. oh goodie.
