Template Tryout 3

Everyone is being incredibly helpful. All honest votes count. I like this background because it's soft and quiet although I wish the borders stretched so my blog fills the page. This cuts everything off at the side so it probably won't make the cut. But I do like the colors.

I like this color scheme the best so far. I know what you mean about the stretch templates, but I actually like this for you.

I like this one the best so far. The colors are easy on the eyes. I also have this template and sometimes I wish I could use the whole page - but then people compliment me on the simplicity of it.

I think if you plan on putting a lot of pictures on your blog it should be simple. If you are just going to write, then maybe a little more picturesque in the formatting. There are so many beautiful blogs out there, and they are unique to the author. Go with what you really like, I think.

If I were you, I would try these colours on the previous template - but that's just me. I don't like squeezing the text into these narrow frames. After all, I've never asked anyone if they liked the look of my blog.

If you like it, it's fine. I don't come by because of the template :D
I don't think anyone does.

Hi Calli Girl,
I don't come here for your template. I come here to read what is on your mind. But since you asked, I LOVE these colors. Very soothing!
I too prefer wider columns for the text. I'm even thinking about paying someone to change the html on my blogs so I can get wider text space and perhaps three columns. I dunno...

I like this one, too.

Well now, a consensus on color at least! It is helpful. I'm going to keep experimenting but it's good to have some kind of direction now.

I'm watching "Sunday Morning" and they are talking about May 3, 1934 when all the kids were just beginning to read comic books...something Famous Comics was first printed. Interesting.

I also like this one best so far. The softer color goes so much better with your beautiful flowers. I'm also always experimenting with templates, pictures, etc. It's part of the fun and creativity. I'm looking for a way to change my fonts. I don't like the choices that come with the blogspot set up.

I'd like to import a template, but don't know how to do it or if it's possible at all. Because there really are only a few choices and are therefore much overused.

But California Girl, as I said, I come here more to read than look at the template!

Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity of seeing the other blog templates, so I can't really vote. But I do like your blog (found it via *Minka*) and will be following.

Have a great Sunday!

Nina: Thanks for the input. I like this too. It's growing on me.

Pop and Ice: Glad you visited and I hope you come back.

Minka: Thank you for sending me a new reader.
