I Agree With Glenn Beck and Joe Scarborough...this time

Miracles do happen and today I find myself agreeing, nay, applauding Glenn Beck.  

You:  "Applauding Glenn Beck?  WTF?"

Me:  "Well, he's on the side of the angels right now.  As Bullwinkel liked to say 'Just listen'"

Glenn Beck calls out the hypocrites; those who profess to be Christians yet will not extend a kindness to those in need.  Joe Scarborough points this out after they run the Beck clip.  And Mike Barnicle points out this is "...a humanitarian crisis...we are capable of handling..."

In the end, it was Jesus who said

There may actually be changes afoot regarding some aspects of gun control.  Wayne LaPierre is gettin' a beat down not only from Joe Scarborough of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" but  from Chris Wallace at Fox News Network.

Purveyor of Violent Porn

Joe Scarborough is coming down hard on Quentin Tarantino's penchant for violent film making. He scoffs at the Hollywood elite who hold Tarantino in high esteem and considers Tarantino a "jackass".  Scarborough is not someone I often agree with.  In fact, I almost never agree with his views.  This time I do.

Tarantino has always seemed ego-centric, driven to create more and more on-screen mayhem, bloodshed and violent images to maintain his own.  The publicity that preceded "Pulp Fiction" all those years ago was enough to keep me away.  I have seen a few of his films, the "Kill Bill" series.  That was enough.  I just love the manner in which he holds himself above reproach as seen in this interview clip below.
