Sunrise At the Trestle

Sunrise at the Trestle by Cole Scott

My husband trekked across the street from where we currently live in his mother's farm house.  He loves getting up before dawn to take the dogs into a wetlands field.  He says the light is perfect early in the morning and late in the afternoon.  He shot this a few days ago and I think it's one of his best.  As you can see, there is a train trestle in the fields and, yes, we do have a real old-fashioned diesel train using the tracks.  It's a huge tourist attraction in these here parts.  People just love to get on board and ride and wave and enjoy the beautiful scenery as the train takes you up in the White Mountains through Crawford Notch.

That picture is breathtaking in its beauty. I thought it was a painting at first. Thank you for sharing it.

Wow, that's a beautiful photo! He does nice work. He's probably right about the light, but that's not enough to get me out of bed early.
