He's My Hero

I constantly post video snippets of Jon Stewart bits.  He's the King of Late Night TV as far as I'm concerned.  I'm not alone, of course.  New York magazine's cover story is all about King Jon and the Jon Stewart decade this month.  Here's why they think Stewart's "the man".

Stewart and "Daily Show" break out star, Stephen Colbert, are planning side by side rallies in D.C. on Oct 30th.  Thumbing their noses at the Glen Becks of the world, Stewart and Colbert have named their gatherings "Rally to Restore Sanity" and "March to Keep Fear Alive", respectively.

I think I'm gonna go out and buy myself a New York mag and book a train ticket to D.C.

  1. Yes, he is the man! The two of them are going to make history of some sort. It is so interesting that a comedy team gives us better news than the MSM. Right on!

  2. I hope a lot of people show up for his rally, and if you go I hope you'll fill us in. BTW, I love how Joe tried to make himself more important by putting himself on Jon Stewart's enemies list.

  3. Stewart is a national treasure. I'd love to be at that event -- except I really hate public restrooms. ;)

  4. Stewart is wonderful! Pretty much the only reason to watch television.

  6. I AM going with my husband! We booked our plan ticket on Monday night! I'll also be celebrating my 55th birthday that day in DC! WOW! This is not like me to act so boldly... is it?

  7. Judy, that is so COOL! What a fun birthday. We must be very close in b'days. Mine is 11/1.

I would like to go but it's doubtful. I will want to hear about the experience; what the other people attending are like; the turn out; the speakers, etc.
